In this list of apps for college students, we will go over five applications that can help students study, manage money, or just have fun during their time in college. Yes, they are all free.

  1. Scribd

Described as being a “Netflix for ebooks” by many critics, Scribd is the worlds largest online library. With this app, students have access to millions of different documents and books that can be used to help in their studies. Its very easy to navigate, and data can easily be organized by topic or genre. Also, you can create your own library of notes, documents, and books and even share them with your friends if you so desire. With Scribd, students will find all of the information they need, guaranteed.

      2. EasyBib

We all know how difficult it can be to write an essay. Some would say that the toughest part of writing an essay is citing all of the sources that they used in order to get their information. Well, with the app, EasyBib, work citing is much easier and will take up less time. All you need to do is type in the title or scan the barcode of the book or document that you are citing, then EasyBib takes care of the rest and cites the source for you in whatever format you want. The app also allows you to email and export your bibliography so that you can copy it onto your paper. Most people have already heard of this app. Whether you are out late at night, or just don’t feel like walking, Uber will be there to make sure you get to your destination safely. With this feature, there is no worries if you are carrying cash around and you can always split the fares with your friends.

Let’s be honest, most college student want to have a good time and go out when they are not busy studying. Upstream is basically a network for those who want to know where to find entertainment, parties, festivals, and dining venues in their area. You can either use one of the predefined tags, or you can use the app’s “Explore” function to find exactly what it is you are looking for.
