Hosted by Ty Hildenbrandt and Dan Rubenstein, this podcast is an independent, bi-weekly show that began in August of 2008.

Hildenbrandt, based in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and Rubenstein, based in NYC, have propelled their show into one of the most popular podcasts, as in 2009 it became the highest rated and most popular of its kind.

You can catch the show during pre, post and regular season, truly demonstrating their dedication to football and to their fans.

While the NFL: College Football site is oriented much more towards the NFL, the coverage in the podcasts are specifically focused on college players and, despite what the name suggests, the college games themselves – rankings, outcomes etc. (Of course, it’s still all relative to the NFL).

With this podcast covering so much ground, it’s certainly one that avid fans will want to take note of, especially if they’re also interested in the NFL.

And the best part? There are so many to choose from that you easily have hours of football knowledge just waiting for you to listen.

6. The College Draft

And much like the above podcast, the College Draft is a podcast that focuses much on the college football players that are potential draft candidates in the upcoming draft season.

NFL analyst and former player, Ross Tucker and Fran Duffy put out a podcast every week that outlines the top players in college football’s biggest games.

These podcasts can be found on iTunes, RSS, Stitcher or TuneIn, or fans can listen to the podcasts directly on the website (link above).

So if you aren’t already, tune into one (or all) of the above podcasts to not only spend more time learning about some of your favorite college teams, but also for just pure sports entertainment, wherever you may be.
