7 Must-Have Items That Only 90's Kids Remember
We’ve all been there before, your alarm goes off at 7 a.m to the tune of Jesse McCartney’s “Beautiful soul” hit pop tune, you run down stairs to pop some toaster strudels in the oven, and you slip on your new heely’s to get ready for school. If that didn’t give you all of the nostalgia feels, I really don’t know what will. I remember all of the great things that came with being a 90′s kid – the wonderful shows like Ed, Ed & Eddy, the delicious foods like ring pops, and the catchy phrases like ”let’s dip”. But what about all of our go to items that we couldn’t live without….does the Tamagotchi ring a bell?
1. The Game Cube
I can’t be the only one who was completely obsessed with the Game cube. How fun was it to hang out with your friends and just spend hours playing Mario Party, Super Smash Brothers, and Burnout?
2. Razor Phones
The iphone didn’t exist, and no one even cared. Could someone please take me back to the days where flip-phones were so “fetch”?
3. Bubble Couch
This is what added all of the happiness I need to my life, and to my room. I miss my friends coming over and sitting on my plastic piece of heaven.
4. Boom-Box
Before the itouch was a thing, the boom-box was all you needed to play your favorite Brittney Spears tunes like , “She’s So lucky.”
5. Slip N’ Slide
What’s better than a sunny Saturday afternoon spent hanging out with your friends sliding down a piece of plastic that stayed wet with your neighbors water hose? The answer is nothing. Tip: make it even more fun by adding soap bubbles to the mix.
6. Moon Shoes
I could never make these work at first, but eventually when I did – it was the best thing that ever happened. It’s an incredibly fun time to jump with anti-gravity effects.
7. Pogo Stick
This one speaks for itself. Oh, by the way, if you never fell off of one of these & scraped your knees – you haven’t lived.
