We all know that sitting through hours of class every week is furthering our education and making us into smarter individuals. Unfortunately, there is no class to learn the weird, random, and interesting facts about everyday life.

Say goodbye to awkward silences and small talk because you can now start a conversation with a stimulating fact. Here are some really unique truths that will not only make you the smartest person in the room but also the most interesting.

•The Coca-Cola Company helped shape the iconic image of Santa Clause, that big, jolly man in the red suit with a white beard, by drawing him this way as part of an ad in the 1930s.

•Military planes follow the flight patterns of migratory birds by making a v formation in flight in order to improve the fuel efficiency of the aircrafts.

•Acai is pronounced [ah-sah-ee].

•People who climb Mount Everest have to actually climb the mountain about three times before they try to summit to the top in order to acclimatize.

•Each South Park episode is created in one week while Family Guy episodes are backlogged for years before airing.

•Starbucks offers 50 cent refills on any venti coffee.
