Unless you kiss up to him the first week he doesn't care about you and you will get no help from him. To pass his class don't go and just attend all tutoring zone's lectures at TCC.

Material easy to follow.
Only eGrade questions.
uses simple numbers only! :)
Cons: Very sarcastic but don't take it to heart.
Only quizzes and tests so no extra work to pull up grade.
All on computer so if you mess up you screw yourself over.
Bought textbook for no reason.
NO CALCULATOR USE AT ALL.
Class ended up being one of my favorite, if you come to class and learn Dodaros way it cuts studying for the final and exams in half cause he teaches you how to think like a calculus student ergo the class, but it makes solving the problems a billion times easier and i'm not a math person AT ALL. but its a no calculator class so the numbers always work themselves out, which honestly makes the class really simple to understand. hated algebra, loved calculus.
Cons: Unorganized notes.
Dodaro is a great teacher. You NEED to go to class and take notes and do the OPTIONAL online assignment until you get it right. He's a nice guy who tries to joke around a lot, but honestly, it's not that funny. Just laugh along and be nice. Don't let your phone ring in class because he makes the most annoying joke and says, "If it's for me, tell 'em I'm not home!" Like I said, it's not funny. But he thinks it's hilarious...He reminds me of an older Peter Griffin from Family Guy. He writes all of his notes for you to copy exactly on the overhead projector, but sometimes they're really unorganized which makes them hard to understand when you go back to study. Take this guy. He's a great teacher.
Does a perfect "Peter" impression from Family Guy.
Knows Calculus like Abe knew honesty...
Cons: Made those who asked dumb questions think twice about asking another dumb question, which I thought was an awesome pro, because it was hilarious the way he put people down.
Sometimes takes the more complicated route to solving problems (often, actually).
Tests were pretty effing hard.
Cons: If you get behind for some reason, you are fucked.
Wants students to do well
Nice guy if you take the time to meet him
Cons: Pretty boring class
Tough to learn from his style of teaching
TA's don't speak much english in Quiz help
Cons: If you dont pay attention for a split second, you can get easily confused. Still had to go to TutoringZone.
