He has an online web thing that lets him know which students are reading his book
Overall, he is a great professor. He gives a 10 point extra credit assignment thats easy.
Can definitely get an a if you go to every lecture and keep up with the readings online. Also it helps to ask questions on tests- usually he will lead you to the right answer.

Cons: If you don't go to class often, or don't read the e-text, this class is not for you. I went to class every day and read the e-text and got high As on all exams, which is really all it takes, but on the grade roster a shocking number of people didn't pass the exams. Each day 2/3 of the class is missing, so I'm assuming that's why. If you go to class on a regular basis and will read over the e-text eventually, you'll be fine
