I've been a social worker since 2003. I came up through the field and now work in administration at the Florida Department of Children and Families. My academic areas of expertise are: history, psychology, social work, data analysis, research, writing and mentoring.

I do not believe there is such a thing as a "stupid question." All questions lead us to understand an issue or concept we are struggling to understand. I treat with my students with candor, respect and compassion.

Greg was very encouraging and walked me though how to start doing my research and what steps I need to take to get started on my lit review. He was very patient and explained the entire process in detail.

One of our last sessions until the test, we went over strategy and ratio. Greg could not stress enough how important it is to take the first hour reading through the questions and identifying what would be troublesome or second guessing. It would also allow myself to commit to the questions/answers I do know. I asked about worse case scenario and the very fact that Greg is 100% invested and confident within my abilities means the most. Sometimes all you need is that person in the corner to say "you got this!" Greg is that guy.

Good session and Greg is helping ease the anxiety by leveling the play field of test. Also helps to know that we as social workers are all called to different areas and just because I don't know a certain area, doesn't mean I'm illiterate about it.

In going along, Greg's curriculum is getting stronger for me and proving to me that "hey I can take a breather and realize that I am capable of doing this."

Greg is teaching me that I can read the question and not rush myself. Teaching me that there's more than enough time to identify key words and phrases that are designed to throw me off. Attention to detail is key. Really enjoy my tutor!

Greg was able to explain the difference between the DMM 4 vs 5 why the basics of are important and how it applies to the test. Getting more goal oriented mindset to set up success.

Want to say thanks for Greg turning my perspective goal around. It's about gathering data so that you can strengthen what you know and tune up what you don't.

I've had more than 1 tutor and thus far, Greg distinguishes himself to be better for me because he continues to learn better ways to teach his students. Whether it's related work experience and situations or different strategies that he's learned to help strengthen the student.

It doesn't take long for Greg to help identify patterns to work on for his student's/clients. "Iron sharpens iron" and I believe this to be the case for Greg and his student's thus far.

Going through our second lesson/session, Greg was able to provide me more confidence in myself with his encouragement. I enjoy his ability to relate real world events to social work practice. Being able to come up with examples like world events helps prepare better for what ASWB is asking on the test.
- Clint T. from Newburgh, IN
Completely relatable and patient. So far in my experience, he has an uncanny ability to identify the right time to help you understand where you are and where you need to be in practice. Excited to learn more.
